About Our Company

Lone Wolf Drafting and Design is an experienced architectural support firm providing services in photorealistic rendering, 3D model design, and AutoCAD services.

Since 2004, Lone Wolf Drafting and Design has assisted clients in the creative and conceptual development of architectural and landscape design through 3D modeling, photorealistic rendering, and 2D planning and elevations with AutoCAD. We specialize in conceptual design layouts using photorealistic software that allows our clients to see their finished design before any actual structure is erected. Clients use our services to save time and money and to get a true, real world sense of their final design. Our rendering services can be very useful when trying to visualize or illustrate the details, lighting, and nuances of a proposed space, as well as to get an understanding of the overall space and how it will function within a given environment. Many clients use this service to help them get their design ideas across to their clients, and often times these images are the difference between selling a job and losing a job. After the conceptual design has been approved, your project will move into the AutoCAD phase, where we can create basic plans and elevations of your project. AutoCAD plans and conceptual design images can then be forwarded to a registered architect of your choosing for finalization.

Thanks again for viewing our website and taking the time to review our projects. As always, Lone Wolf Drafting and Design offers competitive pricing and quick turn around times. We look forward to working with you to meet your design needs.

Featured Projects

  • Executive Home Office

    home office design and rendering

This project is a promotional design based on a segment heard on the Opie and Anthony Radio Show heard on XM Satellite Radio. During the bit, Anthony Cumia broadly described his ideal home office, and it was on this description that this project was based. Mr. Cumia had expressed an interest in having office modeled after a late 19th century style – an Indiana Jones meets Dr. Livingstone theme.

  • Las Vegas Themed Garage

las vegas garage design and rendering

This project was created in cooperation with GarageMahals of Scottsdale, AZ. This project is located within an old brick warehouse that is being converted into a large show garage. The client wanted the entire space to be themed after the glitz, glamour and elegance of Las Vegas, Nevada.

  • Home Theater

    home theater design and rendering

This project was done for a home theater installation company, and was to be done in a western style theme. The project called for oversized exposed wood beams, stadium configured oversized leather theater style seating and a raised stage area.

  • Modern Art Gallery

modern art gallery design and rendering

This is a rather unique project. It started off just as a quick waterwall rendering for one of my clients. The actual project was the stepped waterwall featured in the center of the larger room. I really liked the simple, clean, modern design of this piece, so I decided to build a gallery around it, and add some of my own personal modern art pieces.

  • Backyard Pool and Waterfall

    waterfall design and rendering

This is a project for a client in Texas who is remodeling his backyard. This was a simple and elegant design consisting of a small pond, a waterfall, and a pool. He wanted a flowing pond on the upper level with a jagged flagstone patio. The water flowed from the pond over a hammered copper scupper into a swimming pool located below. The back of the pool featured blue and gold glass tile.

  • French Country and European Inspired Traditional Kitchen Design

french country kitchen design and rendering

This project was a rather unique one, as it has been designed for my wife. For the longest time, she has wanted a French Country style kitchen, so, as a promotional project, I decided to create one for her. I also decided to add some old world European design into this project as well, to give the space a grander feel. The kitchen portion of this project is laid out like a typical kitchen; however, every effort was made to hide the utilitarian functionality of the kitchen.

  • Orient Theme

oriental themed garage design and rendering

This garage was designed for a client that wanted an oriental style, earth toned themed garage. The designer and I started by choosing a muted, deep jade paint scheme on the upper portion of the walls. We then added wainscoting to the lower portion of the walls, separated by a stainless steel chair rail. We then blocked out the 3 existing windows with a unique geometric space with a large brass/bronze disc in the middle that mimics a gong. This theme was repeated throughout the space with some variation.

  • Industrial Church

    industrial church design and rendering

The industrial church was a conceptual project only. The goal was to create a unique and grand space for church goers that would appeal to a younger crowd. Therefore, I wanted to capture the feel of a grand cathedral space, and create a sense of mass and awe, but also make it feel light and airy at the same time. The result is the industrial church concept.

  • 1940s Garage

1940s style garage design and rendering

The goal of this project was to create the feel of an antique gas station in its hey day by the waters of New York Harbor. This project was rather unique, as it had to be designed around elements that could be found and installed. The gas pumps seen in these images are real pumps that, at some point in time, were part of a working gas station. From that, we designed a typical awning that would be seen at a gas station of that era - the cream white awning, neon lighting, and backlit gas signs all add to this nostalgic feel.

  • Art Deco Garage

art deco garage design and rendering

The goal of this project was to create an authentic replication of a 1930s art deco style building lobby within the confines of an existing 3 bay garage. The client wanted to hide the original box shape of the existing garage, and give the illusion of a tall, geometrically unique space. In order to do this, we had to first design elements that would give the effect of looking up a multistory lobby area, even though the height of the garage roof was only twelve feet.

  • Steampunk Design Concept

steampunk concept space design and rendering

I have always loved the steampunk theme, and it is a style not used or much talked about in the practical design world. However, I wanted to create a space that used this design style as a study in texture, lighting, and design concept. The result is a rather unique space – one that I think could easily be seen in a sci-fi movie.

  • Modern Office

    modern office design and rendering

This project was a conceptual project. The client wanted some ideas for use in future construction of an office space. The client did not want an everyday, run-of-the-mill space, and instead wanted something that was earthy, and open to nature, and provided a tranquil working environment. The result was a space using earthtones, soft lighting, and large windows to allow as much natural light in as possible.

  • Building Ruins

    ruins design and rendering

This project was unique in that it required me to use my software in a rather unusual way. The client wanted realistic images of building ruins which were to be converted into large vinyl sheets and used as a sort of wallpaper for an interior garden space. Therefore, I proposed this concept – the ruins of an old building, such as a factory or warehouse, overgrown with vines and trees.

  • Brick Library

    brick library design and rendering

The goal of this project was to create a warm, intimate library space centered around a large dome, with a grand fireplace at one end, and a piano room on the other. The client liked a few design features seen in other projects, so one will notice the trussing from the 1940’s themed garage, and the doorways from the Art Deco Library. Therefore, in order to tie these elements together, I decided to use a combination of used brick, wood, aged copper and an element of industrial design in some of the vertical members throughout the space.

  • Art Deco Library

art deco library design and rendering

The Art Deco Library was designed for the client of the Art Deco Garage, and was to serve as a “sister structure” to the original Art Deco Garage theme. The clients had wanted a custom library for some time, and after seeing the successful design ideas incorporated in the garage, they wanted to see what those ideas would translate in to for a library space. The result was a massive, two story space with real roots going back to the 1930s Art Deco Movement.

  • Auto CAD PDFs

    Detailed cabinet plans

These are all AutoCAD drawings converted to a PDF format. These images show my wide range of expertise from simple elevations, to full landscape plans, down to highly detailed, custom designs. On this page, you will see residential landscape plans, construction documents for custom trusses, cabinets, control boxes and even a design for a high end water wall.

  • American Classic Garage (ACG)

american classic garage design and rendering

The goal of this project was to outfit an existing building to house a showroom garage for our client. ACG had proposed a partnership with GarageMahals to share a showroom space in a 2 story warehouse structure.

  • Allen Garage

The goal of this project was to outfit an existing single bay garage to house a Porsche and Harley Davidson motorcycle. The client expressed interest in having additional storage, a worktop area, and a lift so that he may work on his Porsche at home, instead of taking it to a mechanic's shop.

  • Office Redesign

    office redesign with renderings

The goal of this project was to create a modern, yet elegant work environment for a small, private firm. They had wanted an interior space that reflected old world charm with modern building materials.

  • Torino Break Room

    torino design and renderings

The goal of this project was to completely renovate an existing break room space inside a large mechanic's garage. Initially, the space was used for storage of random equipment, and didn't allow for any respite for the employees. Therefore, the client approached GarageMahals to design a state of the art employee lounge.

  • Vento Project

The Vento Project was one of the largest garages GarageMahals had worked on. This 4 bay behemoth was to be unique in every way possible. The client wanted a space that was more akin to a living area then a garage, and drew heavily on art deco architecture.

  • Water Wall

These are custom designed water walls for a high-end steak house. The wall is constructed of fine cherry wood with mirrored glass back wall. The water will be directed to flow over the mirror, with wine bottles facing down at a 45 degree angle. While these images only show the proposed finished product, I had to also create the AutoCAD construction drawings that had to show, among other things, construction, plumbing and electric runs.

  • Outdoor Kitchen Design

This project was a conceptual design for a private residence. The existing condition was just a patio slab with no overhead shade, and a featureless backyard. The client had expressed a desire to install a fireplace, large BBQ with a refrigerator and wine cooler. He also wanted a prep table, using a custom tile that he had picked out, a basic outdoor dining area, and a sitting area with a fire and water feature. I decided to use a Santa Fe style look, with Mexican influence in the colors, which was offset by the custom tile design.

  • Indoor Kitchen Design

This project was a conceptual design for a private residence. The client was tearing down his entire existing kitchen and remodeling his dining room. He wanted to add a small breakfast nook, add a center island with a range top and oven along with a small “pot” sink. I also included a bar seating area around the center island as well as easy access to electrical outlets for further appliances.

  • Hammond Garage

The goal of this project was to create a space to display 15 motorcycles and 2 cars. However, the space in which the remodeling was to take place was very small, with a low ceiling, narrow overall width. The solution was to create a “double decker” system, allowing the client to store one bike on top of the other.

  • McDaniel Garage

This garage is a four bay space, with a bar/lounge area housed in a large, 2-story turret. The client had wanted a futuristic look to the entire space, but allowed for functional uses. The cabinets that run along the back of the garage are all custom designed, with smaller cabinets running along the top. We used a rolling ladder modified with ATV tires for access to those upper cabinets.

  • Hospital Water Wall

This water wall was designed for an indoor parking garage for a private hospital. The hospital wanted 3 water walls, with planters in between, and a large planter going toward the vehicle entry way. The water wall was developed as two separate ideas - one with straight glass, and one with ship lapped glass. The end result is a welcoming and calming center piece to the entry way for the hospital.

  • Pilot Wheel Lithograph

The goal of this project was to create a custom helm for a 50 foot yacht owned by family friends. The couple had purchased the yacht some time ago as a restoration project and the time had finally come to install the ships wheel. They commissioned me to create an original pilot wheel for their newly refurbished vessel.

  • LIRR/MTA Lithograph and Steam Engine Lithograph

The goal of this project was to create two custom renderings for a local train enthusiast. These drawings were to be later converted into large vinyl wall murals that would be affixed within a model train room.
