American Classic Garage (ACG)

Project Overview
The goal of this project was to outfit an existing building to house a showroom garage for our client. ACG had proposed a partnership with GarageMahals to share a showroom space in a 2 story warehouse structure. ACG was going to display their products toward the back and center of the showroom, while GarageMahals was going to use the side display area to show our flooring samples. The entire space itself was to be used as a showcase for GarageMahals' design talent. All of the elements seen in the following images were designed by my boss and I to create an inviting, yet industrial feeling space. We decided to combine raw, corrugated metal paneling with warm halogen lighting as well as rubber diamond deck plating along the lower half of the walls. We brightened the space using our custom epoxy flooring material – a bronze mix at the raised display area, and a checkered pattern throughout the rest of the space. We decided to add modified gas pumps and neon banding as a tribute to 1960's Americana.
