The Industrial Church was a conceptual project that created a unique and grand space that would appeal to a younger crowd of churchgoers.
Some of the ubiquitous church layout concepts, such as an altar at the front, the large central aisle, and a grand entrance were retained, but new elements were introduced.
Modern materials such as the stainless steel, bronze and brass columns supporting the interior space, Victorian-inspired light fixtures, the large lighted, metallic cross, and pews designed for comfort make this a different take on a sacred space.
Not wanting a typical sports bar, the owners of Blondies, a bar and grill slated for construction in Tempe, Arizona, contacted Lone Wolf Drafting and Design to create a modern, upscale establishment catered specifically to ASU Sun Devil fans.
An oval-shaped sitting area surrounds the industrial-style bar made up of back-lit, perforated stainless steel tiers in the center of the establishment. Blondies features ample seating for patrons inside as well as two outdoor seating areas. Pendant and wall lighting designed by LWDD adds to the space’s modern feel.
The Modern Office is a conceptual project that created an earthy, tranquil working environment that is open to nature
Modern furniture, warm lighting and large windows maximizing natural light add to the openness and warmth of the space.
The project includes a reception area, offices, a conference room, and a break area.
The entire office is centered around a large reflecting pool.
The lighting design for this space uses soft light, either recessed, hanging, table lamps, or floor lamps. No fluorescent lighting is used in the office.
This large concession stand was a test design created by Lone Wolf Drafting and Design. The actual design concept was created by Paul Romano and Stephanie Linz of Fast Fiber LLC. The idea was to create a concession stand based on the item that they would be selling. Therefore, we started with a simple orange concept (perhaps they would specialize in making and selling orange smoothies). The idea behind these test images was to allow Fast Fiber to see how rendered images could help them in the development of their concession stand ideas. Fast Fiber could then order several renderings of different custom stands so they could market those design ideas to specific buyers. Fast Fiber decided to go with renderings to help save R+D costs, instead of creating life size or even scale models of their design ideas. This process would also allow Fast Fiber to make changes that would help fit their specific client needs before production on the real thing began. We are hoping that we will begin helping Fast Fiber develop this idea further in the future.
Lone Wolf Drafting and Design was hired by Sure Storage USA, a private self storage company, to help design and visualize there new customer service center. The idea behind the space was to have an area that displayed their various products while providing a clean, bright, welcoming and friendly center, as opposed the more utilitarian self storage centers that most people are more familiar with. One of the major themes developed by Lone Wolf Drafting and Design was the idea to use their specific storage spaces as various rooms within the building. For instance, the conference room is a 10’ x 20’ storage locker that has been converted into a meeting center. The walls of the conference room feature finished walls with cutaways that allow the prospective client to see the actual structure; displaying the strength of the storage units. Some other themes used throughout the space include the use of Sure Storage’s color scheme and an abundance of glass walls and windows to allow light to flow through the space. Overall, Sure Storage USA was presented with a first class storage and meeting center that will rival any other self storage facility.
