About Our Company
Lone Wolf Drafting and Design is an experienced architectural support firm providing services in photorealistic rendering, 3D model design, and AutoCAD services.
Since 2004, Lone Wolf Drafting and Design has assisted clients in the creative and conceptual development of architectural and landscape design through 3D modeling, photorealistic rendering, and 2D planning and elevations with AutoCAD. We specialize in conceptual design layouts using photorealistic software that allows our clients to see their finished design before any actual structure is erected. Clients use our services to save time and money and to get a true, real world sense of their final design. Our rendering services can be very useful when trying to visualize or illustrate the details, lighting, and nuances of a proposed space, as well as to get an understanding of the overall space and how it will function within a given environment. Many clients use this service to help them get their design ideas across to their clients, and often times these images are the difference between selling a job and losing a job. After the conceptual design has been approved, your project will move into the AutoCAD phase, where we can create basic plans and elevations of your project. AutoCAD plans and conceptual design images can then be forwarded to a registered architect of your choosing for finalization.
Thanks again for viewing our website and taking the time to review our projects. As always, Lone Wolf Drafting and Design offers competitive pricing and quick turn around times. We look forward to working with you to meet your design needs.
Benefits Analysis:
The question I am most asked is this: “How can I use photo-realistic rendering to save my company time and money?” The answer: photo-realistic rendering allows you to present your ideas to your clients in full color with complete accuracy. By rendering, you can modify images to meet your clientÕs needs as the project develops. Furthermore, rendering reduces the need for change orders, saving you time, money and manpower. How? Your clients can see the progress of your design as it is created in true-to-life detail, reducing the chances of your client making changes mid-stream, or even worse, at the end of the project’s design phase, and in the middle of the construction phase. This also eliminates the need to resubmit designs, reapply for permits, and helps streamline the enter design process. By eliminating or reducing revisions, you can now use your in-house staff for other projects on your agenda, reducing delays of the progress of new work. Photo-rendering also allows the “imaginationally challenged” an opportunity to see exactly what is being designed, which takes out the guess work on your behalf. Your clients can easily see what they like, and what they don’t like. By using photo-realistic rendering, you can count on clear communication between you and you client. Again, not everyone understands blueprints, but everyone can understand a full color, true-to-life photograph. These images can evoke emotion and a sense of style in your clients, making it easier for you, the designer, to understand exactly what they need and want in any given space. This is something that can not be achieved by looking solely at blueprints or basic hand sketches. Even the basic renderings that Chief Architect and AutoCAD offer cannot begin to match the detail that we can achieve at Lone Wolf Drafting and Design. However, it is inevitable that one or two changes may be necessary, and with our software, it is easy to do. We can change textures, paint colors, or even relocate walls with ease - something that can be costly to do during the construction phase of any project. Our rendering service can easily save you the hassle of change orders, long delays and headaches. Revisions to any project can add over one hundred hours to a job between new drawings, design reviews, meetings, client approvals, permitting, and man power. Revisions and redesigns can also cost you thousands of dollars in bonus time and salaries for your employees working to make the changes, whereas with our service, you will save thousands by providing your client with a clear-cut picture of the project’s program as it progresses forward. Below, you will see our three levels of service of photo-realistic rendering. Please take a few moments to decide what level of detail is right for your project, and give us a call when you are ready to start your custom tailored rendering project. We look forward to hearing from you and serving you with all of your rendering and design consultation needs.
Sincerely,

Level of Detail Analysis:
Low: This level of detail is used for basic layouts. These images are perfect for displaying the boundaries of a given space, basic furniture, fixture, and lighting layout. These images require a very short turn around time, and are extremely cost effective for getting the basic concept of a project across to a client. The cost of such images ranges from *$1000.00 dollars and under. Examples of these basic images can be seen in the following projects: Allen Garage, Torino Breakroom, and the Wine Bottle Waterwall.
Medium: This level of detail begins to explore more detailed aspects of your project. In this stage of development, one can start exploring specific lighting needs and finishes, as well as true-to-life furniture and fixtures. Medium detailing is perfect for trying to get a sense of what a finalized space will look like while the project is still in the design phase. Medium detailing runs from *$1,000.00 to $2,000.00 and can typically be completed in a week to a week and half. Examples of medium detailing can be found in the following projects: Hospital Waterwall, Art Deco Garage, and Industrial Church.
High: This level of detail is ideal for completed design projects. You, as the designer, are 90% completed (or more) with the design process. With this level of detail, your clients can see everything down to the last detail. Furniture and fixtures are exact replicas of what has been specified in your design, all lighting is to your specifications, electrical outlets and light switches are in place, and all paint colors, surfaces and textures are true-to-life. Your clients will feel as though are looking at a photograph of what has been designed. The cost of this level of detailing starts at *$2000.00 and up and can take up to three weeks to complete. Examples of high level detailing can be seen in the following projects: French Country Kitchen, Brick Library, and Art Deco Library.
AutoCAD: Basic floor plans, elevations, and specialty detailing can be added to any level of detail, and can be completed for a charge of $85.00 per hour.
*Disclaimer: While Lone Wolf Drafting and Design strives to work within our client's budgets and deadlines, it is important to remember that the above listed information is only a guide. While most of our projects can fit into this outline, the size and scope of the assigned project plays a big role. For instance, you may only need a low detail level space, however, if that space is 10,000 square feet, it will take more time to complete due to volume, and therefore go beyond the typical $1000.00 mark. However, this is a rare circumstance and Lone Wolf Drafting and Design makes every effort to stay within the above mentioned outline. Unforeseen circumstances can make that impossible, such as midstream design changes due to permitting conflict, or economic issues (i.e. your client cuts funding to the project, changing the design limitations). We will always work with you to make unforeseen events as small of an impact on the final cost of this service as possible. It should also be noted that we at Lone Wolf Drafting and Design can only estimate a job based on the information given. Should more information be provided during the process of a job, or more detail be needed, the cost of the final product may be increased, and an estimate of that cost increase will be presented to you, the client, for review before work continues in the event of that, or any scenario, that will affect the final estimated cost.
