Indoor Kitchen
Level of Detail: High
Project Overview
This project was a conceptual design for a private residence. The client was tearing down his entire existing kitchen and remodeling his dining room. He wanted to add a small breakfast nook, add a center island with a range top and oven along with a small “pot” sink. I also included a bar seating area around the center island as well as easy access to electrical outlets for further appliances. The client also requested a Sub-Zero Refrigerator with a plasma screen TV built in to the door, as well as 2 high powered microwaves side by side in the far wall. I also added a large, sweeping, curved drop ceiling to highlight the boundaries of the kitchen area. All cabinetry is custom sized and designed with translucent glass which flows into the dining room. The dining room consists of a custom designed table, along with a large capacity wine rack, with a curved rack exposed for easy access. The rest of the rack, seen to the left of the table, consists of a chilled wine storage area with sliding, translucent glass doors, and all racks are backlit. All doors, ceiling fans, and lighting fixtures are custom designed to work with the flow and large design items of the rooms.
